Following a successful career with a FTSE-100 media company, Steve Bavister has worked for the last 10 years as a trainer, facilitator, coach and author. He has a passion for helping individuals, teams and companies maximise their potential, and brings warmth, energy and commitment to everything he does.
An expert in communication, relationships and confidence, Steve delivers courses and provides coaching in areas such as presentation skills, influencing and persuading, personal impact, networking, business writing and NLP.
Working for many years at a senior level for an international company, where he was responsible for a staff of 80 and profits in excess of £1 million, means Steve appreciates and understands the realities of business, management and leadership. He has experience across a wide range of sectors, up to CEO and CFO level, and has trained and coached around the world.
Having an honours degree in psychology means he has a rich understanding of what makes people tick, while his extensive knowledge of Neuro Linguistic Programming – he is a Master Practitioner and a Certified NLP Coach – gives him a wide range of tools, strategies and techniques to help others.
Steve is the co-author of several business and personal development books, including Essential NLP (50,000 copies sold), Teach Yourself Presenting, Personal Impact and Teach Yourself Coaching. Steve is also a Director of Speak First Ltd.
