Why attend Network Your Way to Success?

In this session you will evaluate your existing network and develop a strategic plan to enhance it. The plan will help you: identify who it would be useful to have in your network; know where to go to for help when you need it; benefit from sharing ideas with people in other departments; know which groups and events to target; and make the most of career development opportunities.

You will also:

draw a NetMap of your current network, identify what is missing, and create a strategic plan that will give you the network you would like to have
practise and recieve feedback on initating conversations with people you don't know
recognise opportunities for networking - eg internally at the coffee point or waiting for a meeting to begin, and externally on trains or traditional networking events
know how to make a positive impression
