 JERMAINE EDWARDS - Global Account Manager
Jermaine worked with the London borough of Waltham Forest consulting and mentoring people on savings management and the benefits of education. He then worked within Europe successfully running a dance studio in Germany. Two years ago he decided to progress his professional and personal development and add value to companies as an Account Manager. We are delighted he has now joined Speak First. Jermaine has made a tremendous impact to Speak First helping our clients to develop relevant and impactful training programmes.
Jermaine enjoys sports and activities that challenge his body and mind and took part in the London Oxfam Marathon. He loves to travel and has experienced many different cultures. He believes that growth is inspired by becoming vulnerable to different experiences and learning from them.
 HELEN BAVISTER - Global Account Manager
Helen has a background in media sales, working on a variety of regional, consumer specialist and B2B publications for two Ftse 250 companies. A successful salesperson in these areas, Helen has experience managing a team as well as selling a variety of ‘unusual’ titles covering subjects from model railways and gardening to the transport and rail sector. With an interest in development and soft skills Helen has joined the Speak First team as Global Account Manager. She is motivated by the transitional nature of training, and the impact it has on individuals in terms of confidence and effectiveness. In her free time Helen loves folk music and travelling. For most weekends in the summer she can be found barefoot in a field. When not outside she enjoys art and literature and is a voracious reader.  MATTHEW SHERMAN - Global Account Manager
Matthew Sherman sees his life as a story to be written and not a script to follow. Known for his dedication to improving the lives of others; he has always been committed to serving his community as he believes it’s his responsibility as a citizen of the world. Over the past few years Matthew has volunteered in many different capacities: assisting the elderly at a retirement home, teaching English to local immigrants, and helping children in the community realize their potential and build their futures. Prior to joining Speak First he worked in the financial services industry for over 10 years educating individuals, families, and businesses about the importance of saving for the future. Outside of work Matthew enjoys globetrotting and experiencing many different cultures. Through these adventures he has learned that if you don’t like the world you are living in, then you need to create one in which you do.
