What is this?

The Speak First news feed allows you to stay up to date with new content on the Speak First website. If we add a new article, tips for better communication skills, or a new course, for example, it will appear in your news feed. This means you get the most recent information from Speak First, without having to check back regularly to our website.

How do I subscribe to the RSS feed?

The first thing you need, if you don’t already have one, is a news reader. This software checks the feed and allows you to read the new pages that have been added to the website. There are many different readers out there and you can choose one that is browser-based or a downloadable application. A browser-based reader will let you access your RSS feed from any computer, whereas a downloaded application lets you store them on your main computer.
Once you have a news reader, you can just click on the RSS feed (symbolised by the yellow icon). This allows you to subscribe to the feed, by dragging the URL of the feed into your news reader, or by cutting and pasting that URL into a new feed in your news reader.
