Public courses for presentation and communication skills
At Speak First we offer our most popular presentation and communication skills training as open/public courses. Any individual is welcome to book a place on these courses.
Why attend an open course?
Perhaps you'd like to work on your presentation skills, personal impact skills or other communication skills away from your colleagues.
Maybe you're an organisation that doesn't have sufficient numbers to book a full in-company course, or you’d like to check out Speak First training before you book and in-company programme with us.
Or you could be self-employed, progressing your career, or generally looking to improve your interpersonal skills for your own development.
If so, an open course is perfect for you.
Many people who attend our open courses remark on the value they gain from learning with people from other companies and how free they feel to talk openly about areas they want to develop.
Despite the diversity of the participants, our trainers always give individual, relevant and tailored advice and feedback. They’re able to do this due to years of experience, the small size of our groups and because we ask you for information about your role, challenges and areas for development prior to the course. This means the trainers are fully prepared to meet your individual needs.
When and where?
In the UK, Speak First open/public courses are held in London. Our comfortable, purpose-built London training centre is situated close to the City and within easy reach of public transport links.
Dates of open courses are updated regularly. See our calendar for all open course dates.
If we don't have a date that suits you, let us know. If there’s enough demand, we’ll look at adding new dates.
You’ll find more information about each course by navigating from the left-hand menu.
