Gill is an experienced trainer and coach, specialising in Communication Skills, Leadership and Management, and Sales and Business Development.
Her background is as a qualified chartered accountant, spending the early years of her career working for two of the big four accountancy practices in audit and assurance roles.
She has been involved in Learning and Development for more than 20 years, across both technical and people skills, and across the public and private sector. Over that time, she has delivered courses across five continents, as well as virtually.
Gill has delivered training for the energy industry, telecommunications, and infrastructure companies among others, as well as central and local government, professional service firms, banks, retail and regulators.
She has a keen interest in combining technical skills with people skills through training on effective communication and report writing, team building, managing difficult meetings and wider business partnering skills including understanding client value and developing consultancy skills, including business development.
Gill believes in working with the client to design and deliver learning solutions which work for them. In recent years, these have ranged from bite-size, online sessions through to five-day, case study based residential programmes and scenario based “war games.” As a facilitator, she believes that adaptability is key to the success of both the programme and the participants.
She is a chartered accountant, member of the ICAEW, associate member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and is qualified to administer psychometric questionnaires, including Myers Briggs Type Indicator and 16PF.
She is qualified as an executive coach with the Academy of Executive Coaching and is a Certified Online Learning Facilitator.
