As a trainer, Melanie is passionate and interactive. She deeply engages every room she enters due to her authentic nature and empathetic approach to driving impact. Her greatest passion is to empower individuals to reach their full potential personally and professionally.
She has a diverse professional background in both media and business, which has strengthened Melanie’s ability to engage, influence and empower others. Melanie developed a strong performative background in the theatre, which contributed to her success as an on-camera TV/Radio host and interviewer.
She has also worked in customer service, sales and as a brand ambassador educating customers on brands such as AT&T and Hawaiian Tropic, before becoming a successful marketing manager. Melanie’s marketing expertise is in customer engagement and partnership relationship management. As a marketing manager, she delivered training for brand ambassadors and field marketing representatives, developing them into product and brand experts.
Additionally, Melanie is the founder of a non-profit called My Friendship Values, which empowers young ladies to develop and maintain healthy friendships. The non-profit is known for its signature social-emotional learning workshop, which Melanie developed and facilitates at middle/high schools, school district conferences (LAUSD), and youth empowerment programmes.
Melanie earned a Master of Management and Leadership degree from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio Business School, a programme that strengthened her ability to be introspective, accept feedback, and understand how to drive employees’ motivation and effectiveness in the workplace. She also has a Bachelor of Arts in Radio and Television, with a minor in Marketing from San Francisco State University.
