Michiaki is a great and engaging international trainer and coach, specialising in Leadership and Management, and Communication and Presentation skills training for multinational companies. He enjoys facilitating workshops with people from multicultural backgrounds as he has had extensive exposure to the international environment. He was born and raised in Japan, educated in the USA, and worked in various countries around the world.
Michiaki has worked for large multinational companies including PWC and other international consulting firms, including Citibank and other law firms. As a coach and facilitator, he has facilitated training in a wide range of topics, including Leadership, Coaching, Cross Cultural Management, Strategic Planning, Sales Skills, Business Model Building, Creative Thinking, and Diversity and Inclusion. He supported US and European MNCs to rollout their leadership and sales development programs in Japan and successfully facilitated their training courses in consideration of language and culture issues.
He graduated from Keio University, has an MBA from Babson College and is a certified trainer. He also lectures at the University of Singapore. He was appointed as an adjunct researcher from Institute for Transnational Human Resource, Waseda University.
He has a great attitude towards training people and puts them at ease in the classroom or a virtual setting. His delivery style is one of getting to know the participants and really reaching out to help them become the best at what they do.
