Ross Van Horn
Ross is an experienced international trainer, facilitator and coach, specialising in delivering presentation skills, personal impact, leadership and management, sales and development, communication skills, customer service, personal effectiveness, writing skills, influence, cross-cultural communication and negotiation skills.
With a background working in senior roles in companies including United Nations and UNICEF, he has a strong understanding of the different cultural dynamics that play a role in modern business. His experience of working extensively across Africa, Middle East and USA means that his training is relevant and targeted to the different needs of the participants he trains and coaches.
Working with individuals up to director level, and currently delivering the Masters course in Global Organizational Dynamics at St. Joseph’s University , Ross is experienced in designing, implementing and delivering training programs for a wide range of audiences, allowing him to adapt his training to his delegate’s needs to inspire optimum results.
Ross’s delivery style draws on the participant’s skills and nurtures them through creating a supportive environment in which they are explored and encouraged through facilitative discussion. He has previously worked with Speak First clients such as EMC and in sectors including Oil and Gas, Technology, telecommunications, manufacturing, chemicals, FMCG’s and Government.
Ross has an MA in International Policy from Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. He’s accredited in Appreciative Inquiry from Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University. He is accredited in Executive Personality Dynamics for Coaches from the Gestalt International Study Centre and MBTI. He delivers training in English.
