Built around a practical workshop format, this workshop will build on participants’ existing negotiation skills and give them additional tools and techniques that will let them take their skills to the next level. It’s assumed they are experienced negotiators and that negotiation is a significant part of their role and possibly their day job.

Challenging pair and group exercises will test existing knowledge and skills, with a refresher and reminder of the key principles and practise of effective negotiation. Video recording will be used on a number of occasions, with freeze-frame feedback and coaching from the trainer and the group – so participants have the opportunity to see with their own eyes what’s effective about their approach and what could be improved.

Participants will discover how to handle different kinds of people and difficult situations and the best way to plan and prepare to maximise success. This course is perfect for professionals who negotiate in high-pressure situations where the stakes are high, are looking for new strategies and techniques or have to deal with tough negotiators who stonewall or threaten.
