Many of us are now working and managing teams from home. Some of us will likely already be used to remote working, but others will be struggling to adapt.
Virtual teams have fewer opportunities to socialise. This can lead to feelings of isolation and disconnection, and it may even lead to team conflict and reduced productivity. To build rapport, improve communication, reduce feelings of isolation, and drive a sense of virtual community, managers should learn how to connect with their remote team members through team building exercises, and interact with them daily and weekly to share updated news.
This session will help your managers to understand the importance of virtual team building. Participants will learn how to choose and conduct virtual team building exercises virtually.
This is a standalone session that can also be taken as part of the programme Manage the New Norm – Your Route to Success.
